Buffalo Bills owner Russ Brandon says the team will start wearing the Bills logo this season, in what he says is the team’s “last act of goodwill.”
It is part of a plan to help build the Bills’ brand as a business in the coming years.
Bills President Russ Brandon will wear the Bills name on all of the team, as well as on jerseys and T-shirts.
The team will unveil its brand name on its official Twitter account.
“The last act of our goodwill, and our most sincere thanks to the people of Buffalo for this opportunity to share our name with you,” he wrote in a post on his Facebook page.
The logo is part on a three-part series of logo designs that the team has put together.
The first design includes a stylized Bills logo, with a “T” on top of a red star.
The second includes a “W” in the shape of a buffalo, with the word “BILLS” on a red background.
And the third design features a “F” on the side of the Bills, with two stars, “BUFFALO” and a black star on it.
“We wanted to make sure the fans of the Buffalo Sabres were excited about the logo, so we took a page from the NFL and took this whole branding thing and used it to really create the team,” Brandon said.
He added that the logo will be on jerseys, T-shirt designs, hats, hats and other items from the beginning of next season.
“There are a lot of other things we’re doing to help get the team back on track, and we’re also going to start doing some promotions,” Brandon added.
The Bills finished the season with a losing record, and were the last team in the NFL to have a losing season.
It is unclear how much the team was compensated for its logo.
The league does not disclose its revenues, but it is believed that the Bills generated about $1 billion in revenue last season.
The last two seasons have been difficult for the team.
In the preseason, the Bills went 0-6, and they missed the playoffs for the first time since 2009.
“It was a very difficult season, but one that we can come back from,” Brandon told reporters during a press conference at the team facility in Sunrise, Florida.
The Buffalo Bills have been trying to build a brand and a fan base for years, and it is a good thing for fans that they are finally getting back on the right track.
Brandon said he is “really excited” about the team getting back to the postseason and that the fans have given them a chance to win.
He said the team is confident about the new branding and that it will be a positive impact for the fans.
“I think we have a chance,” Brandon joked.
