Mercedes-Beams and Mercedes-class luxury cars have been discontinued.
The automaker announced on Thursday that the Mercedes-branded line will cease operations in the U.S. in 2019.
That means that buyers who already own a Mercedes-brand vehicle can no longer buy it.
There’s a small, but vocal, contingent of Mercedes owners who still want their cars.
Mercedes has been the biggest beneficiary of this decision, which means that Mercedes-Class, the brand of the Mercedes SUV, is no longer available.
Mercedes-AMG, Mercedes-Citroën, Mercedes, Mercedes AMG, and Mercedes C-Class will be the last two cars on the Mercedes brand line.
Mercedes will continue to sell cars in Germany, but it’s unlikely that those models will be sold in the United States.
