A new book on the world’s largest gambling website has sparked an industry frenzy, with some calling the title of the book “The Kraken of the Internet”.
Krakens are the term used to describe online gambling sites where users are offered a chance to win money and take part in real-life gambling activities.
The book, called The Kraken of World, details how these sites operate.
In a section called “Why do they exist?”, the author explains that these websites are popular because they allow users to gamble on the internet, but have become popular due to their convenience and ease of use.
“People want to gamble in a place where they have anonymity and where they don’t have to worry about having to be a registered user,” he said.
“It’s like being a member of the public in a casino, but on the other side, it’s also like being on a rollercoaster and knowing the ride is safe and you don’t need to worry that you’ll lose.
It’s that kind of convenience that makes these sites great.”
The book also covers the history of gambling in the US, where the first casino was opened in 1894 and the first US gambling was legalised in 1933.
While gambling is still banned in most Western countries, many US states have moved to relax laws to allow online gambling.
