As we mentioned, the logo is a simple rectangle that you’d see on a baseball, basketball, or hockey team’s jersey.
But for a while now, the NBA has also been trying something a little different: changing the color.
We recently reported that the NBA had finally changed the color of the logo from white to gray, a change that has been in the works for some time.
Now, the league is giving fans a chance to weigh in on the issue, and a Reddit user named “Tiny” has provided some thoughts on the subject.
According to the user, the new color change will allow the logo to better match the NBA’s new logo, which has been changed to the blue of the Miami Heat and the gold of the Atlanta Hawks.
Tiny is the creator of the NBA 2K franchise, and he’s currently working on a new NBA 2k17 franchise, which he says will have more of a basketball feel to it.
While he’s been working on the new franchise, he has noticed that the original NBA 2ks logo is just too white, so he decided to take matters into his own hands.
“It was just the most simple thing,” Tiny said.
“I didn’t know what to do with it, so I just made my own version.”
In the end, Tiny is a big fan of the old logo, so when the new one finally hits stores, he hopes it’ll be a welcome addition to the franchise.
“The old logo just looks stupid,” Tiny told Ars.
“With the new logo it’s just better.”
The NBA 2-k17 logo is still available for purchase through Microsoft’s online store.
